TORONTO — About 16,000 people took part in this year’s Walk with Israel on May 26, sponsored by the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto. At last count, this year’s walk has raised more than $500,000 from walkers and their sponsors, according to the federation. “This number continues to grow as we count significant funds received on the day of the Walk. In addition, more than $300,000 was raised this year from corporate and individual sponsors of UJA’s Walk with Israel – a Walk record,” the organization said.
