A Vancouver man charged in connection with an alleged terror plot to bomb the B.C. Legislature on Canada Day had previously made YouTube posts claiming, among other things, that Jews killed Jesus.

John Stewart Nuttall, posted in March that “I agree, The Jews killed Jesus, (they are proud of it).”

Nutall, who posted under the name “Ana Nimity,” reportedly also said that “Israel attacked the USS Liberty in a false flag op[eration] to try and bring us to war. We are sick of the Jews trying to run our lives and it is about time they fought their own war.”

Reacting to reports of Nuttall’s postings, Shimon Fogel, CEO of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, said, “We are gratified that the RCMP and their partner agencies and police forces across the country are demonstrating such vigilance in protecting Canadians from harm and potential terrorists acts.

“The anti-Semitic comments and postings of the accused, which attempt to advance tired, idiotic stereotypes about Jews, appear to be part of a broader attitude of intolerance and hatred. We have confidence that his comments will be taken into consideration as the Crown moves the case forward.”
